Joe Ricketts is the founder of TD Ameritrade, which he built from a small Omaha brokerage into the world’s largest online retail brokerage as measured by trades per day. A Wyoming resident and Creighton University graduate, today Joe applies his entrepreneurial drive to ventures in food, hospitality, and technology, including RibAI, where he serves as Chairman. Beyond business, Joe is deeply committed to philanthropy in education, conservation, and the arts. Joe and his wife, Marlene, have been married for more than 60 years and have four children and 14 grandchildren.
